  1. Please report this to the RSPCA. We had a horrible upstairs neighbour who hated our dog and reported that we left her for 16 hours barking and they took it seriously (until we could prove we hadn't thanks to the dog/nanny cam!) They recommend dogs shouldn't be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time and it sounds like your neighbour is definitely breaching this. As for the interrupted sleep, I can't recommend these earplugs enough. I work shifts including weekends and nights and since moving to ED was losing my mind over constant broken sleep. These are a lifesaver: https://www.boots.com/boots-pharmaceuticals-soft-silicone-earplugs-pink-3-pairs-10112955 (they have similar ones off Amazon and in sainsburys but I find they don't work as well)
  2. Little Yorkie lost in this weather. Hope it's found soon. http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=139902&fbclid=IwAR3RIYSk4hz6cYrrL5RK4a11lpCZXDh0VUDaJQ6NlgxyH_WwVITWX96R71o
  3. I know a L Olsen who has friends in ED. I'll get thouch with her and see if it's her.
  4. This looks like the cat who used to chase us home every night for a few months. The first few times I let it in because it didn't have a collar and I was worried but someone else on Melbourne Grove told me it has a good home and likes to wander. I can't say for sure, though, so i'd take itntonthe vet to check for a chip.

    Dentists

Can anyone recommend a good cosmetic dentist? Don't mind travelling anywhere in London for someone good as I'm very nervous about the amount needing (including veneers/implants). It's a bit daunting looking for the right one to spend thousands of pounds on based on not much info.
  6. I think you need a new solicitor. My boyfriend and I are in the same situation. I have the money for the deposit and he will be paying more of the mortgage than me. Our way of seeing it is that we are a team and neither of us would be able to buy a flat/pay the mortgage without the support of the other. Therefore, if we broke up we would split whatever we have 50/50. The savings are in my name butni wouldn't have them without him supporting me working such long hours to earn it.
  7. Eu son Escocesa pero meu novio es Galego. Hai moitos Espa?oles en Londres. Ir ao Centro Galego para sentirse na casa ou podes ir a un grupo (tennis, running, zumba...) para facer amigas. Good luck!
  8. Anyone know if it's still there? I'll see if I can convince it to come to the vet.
  9. I got mine this time last year. I had to pay for a 2 week rush (which apparently isn't even guaranteed). I mentioned my worry to the person processing my application as it was 6 days before my holiday and she told me it's actually a quiet time of the year which surprised me. It came in 3 days.
  10. Does anyone have one of the wallcharts that have been free with the weekend papers last weekend they'd be happy to part with?
  11. Please report this to the council as well as the police. This sounds like not only a nuisance but a bad accident waiting to happen.Only last month a young mother was killed by bricks falling from scaffolding at a building site in Mile End
  12. Can anyone recommend a knitting group in South London? I can do the basics but looking for a friendly group to pick up some new skills with real humans instead of at home alone with YouTube videos
  13. We go often and are always welcomed. The non dog owners are always a pleasure to be around in there and tend to ask before getting in my dog's face unlike a lot of other ED establishments.
