I went once years ago, gathered up a few pairs of trousers to try on, then found they had no changing rooms. Bought nothing, never went back.

My dad (not living round here) heard that there is liability by the authorities if the pothole has been reported, ie they know about it, which the line around it suggests it has. I found this: https://www.gov.uk/claim-for-damage-to-your-vehicle

Charter School ED - SEN / ADHD experience

academies receive funding according to pupil numbers. is that what you meant by children on the register? there are other parts to the funding formula to reflect relative deprivation in the area, pupil premium/pupil premium plus for eligible students, and other factors eg if the school has a specialism in subject(s) the government wants to encourage the uptake of within the population. -

Any charity shops accepting books?
PeckhamNicola replied to jj8's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Oxfam Herne Hill none too impressed when I turned up with several bags of books, ended up taking them to British Heart Foundation book and cd shop in Streatham instead. Suggest phoning ahead wherever you go so as not to waste a journey. I have donated books to King's in the past, I think via their PALS service, they said they would take them round wards on trolleys. -
Exactly. When I am driving along streets with cars parked either side and lots of people around, my focus is quite short, looking out for dangers in the immediate area rather than looking up at roadside signage etc. I would have been caught out by similar near Ivydale school had I not recently been leafleted about the change from them using physical barriers in school hours to using cameras- the new sign at the roadside was unobtrusive. If they are going to do this there ought to be road markings too.

Secondary school clubs and childcare vouchers
PeckhamNicola replied to mima08's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Lots, and mostly just turn up on the day. Some change from term to term, others are consistent. Most are free, small charge for things like tennis and maybe also cycling at the velodrome.
