  1. Water leak on Burbage Road, water pouring down the drains - TW aware as there is plastic fencing up and a hole dug but water still pouring down the road. Water pressure was low yesterday due to this leak.
  2. Thing is that it is quite regular from Hillsboro Road (maybe different address this time?), doesn?t affect me as I?m far away enough
  3. Really loud music tonight on Hillsboro road - I don?t know how the neighbours cope living next door to it
  4. Yes I?ve suffered with it in the past. I think it?s caused by sitting looking at screens too long putting pressure on neck. I took the plunge and bought the back pod which sorted me out and I use it whenever I get symptoms and it works. It?s expensive for what it is but I am glad I bought it. Maybe try a tennis ball and see if that helps before investing in one.
  5. I have noticed the same and managed to get his numberplate, it is LD65KHW. I?ve reported to Police as I have also seen him riding on the pavement at speed on East Dulwich Grove as well as doing wheelies on other days on East Dulwich Grove. It is an accident waiting to happen and I hope Police can speak to him before somebody gets hurt as East Dulwich Grove is a main school route. Also same location as last years sad motorbike death. I did a search online and seems like he has previous
  6. [email protected] but best to ring the telephone number you gave to get a quicker response
  7. I did but they were not very helpful via telephone. Was told that wardens had already been and asked me what the problem was! I managed to get a bit more sense via email and appears wardens don't ticket vans/lorries parked on pavements as thought they were working on the highway! I replied with an explanation and questioned why wardens don't check and assured that this would be fed back. Disappointing from parking wardens considering the risk posed to many school children using the crossing. Probably easier to just ticket cars than have no one in rather than speaking to someone in person.
  8. Thanks, has been reported regulary this week and workers have been moved on several times but silly game of cat and mouse! Think its the last day today so thankfully coming to an end.
  9. Same again today - man worker having a sleep in the back of a lorry parked on the pavement by the pedrestian crossing, with everyone walking around him and one of the workers cars (red mini) parked on the other side of the pavement. Alleyns don't seem to be interested. Reported to parking enforcement.
  10. Continual pool of water from a manhole cover outside 179 East Dulwich Grove. Thames Water been out a few times but nothing ever resolved.
  11. KidKruger Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What did Alleyns say when you contacted them with > this query ? > Did they assure when this would be resolved soon ? I'll let you know you know when I get a response. They are usually responsive when issues are raised inc. Coaches etc. However they could be proactive to prevent issues like this occurring. If someone from the school had taken a walk out yesterday or today to check they would have come across both issues.
  12. Alleyns continue to be bad neighbours. Hillsboro Road is closed this week for the removal of their portacabins. However they have not been managing their contractors and its continually spilling out into East Dulwich Grove. Yesterday traffic wardens were called as one of the work men had parked his personal car on the pavement and this has occurred again today. This time a lorry on the pavement as shown in the photo. You can see the crossing lady in the background. Pavement very narrow for children coming home from school. Why dont Alleyns monitor contractors working for them? Wardens have been telephoned but question why as they claim to have already attended?
  13. Like heartblock says every day on EDG all the way down to Village Way, Half Moon Lane etc. Most of the coaches sit with engines idling. Every day there is one that arrives at around 3pm on EDG parked outside the Dutch Estate with engine idling for at least 30 minutes, so unnecessary. Been told but keeps doing it. Yesterday also saw a coach pull up outside Dulwich College, stop all the South circular to let kids off. The schools Alleyns, Jags, Dulwich College etc. treat local residents with contempt - there is hardly any traffic when they are on holiday.
  14. I thought Hillsboro road was closed in the mornings for traffic to reduce pollution and increase safety for children going to school. However, most mornings including this morning it is being used to maneuver lorries going in and out the school. Just saw two massive lorries, inside the yellow gates outside the school, engines on and reversing as kids are walking to school!
  15. East Dulwich Grove full of traffic including all of the diverted buses and cars. Extremely busy during normal times and now is regulary used for diversions whenever there is an issue or a road closure in the Dulwich area. Poor air quality, noise etc for the residents and schools on East Dulwich Grove but the council doesn't care.
