About immyp

  1. A perfect patio coffee table in grey faux wicker with a glass top and shelf beneath. A few wicker bits missing on top but otherwise a good size table for those garden drinks and coffee moments. It was originally part of a set costing over £800 but the table is too big for the patio so decided to sell it separately. length 1.2m width 58cm height 36cm £25 cash on collection from SE15
  2. A perfect patio dining table and pair of chairs in brown faux wicker. Good condition and ideal for those alfresco moments. Just fold up and put aside when not in use. Table 72cm tall and 60cm square £35 cash on collection from SE15
  3. Calling all theatre buffs! 2 tickets available for the new play ‘The Hills of California’ (written by the same guy who did ‘Jerusalem’ and directed by Sam Mendes) for this Thur 22/2. Good seats in the stalls worth £90 each but happy to sell the pair for £130. If anyone fancies it, pls DM me asap! https://hillsofcaliforniaplay.com
  4. If you're looking for a brilliant electrician, then I would really like to recommend Liam. He's reliable, efficient, punctual, tidy, friendly and affordable and I will absolutely be using him again. Liam: 07500 970 478
  5. Looking for a reliable and affordable local garden landscaper who can give the garden (in SE15) a bit of an overhaul and build a pergola with decking/patio. Any recommendations welcome! Thanks very much :)
  6. I have used Garvey Plumbing on several occasions and can totally vouch for their great service and reliability. Even if Lee is busy, he?ll help send a colleague and always replies to messages quickly. Highly recommend.
  7. Thank you so much for raising this. I am completely appalled at Southwark going ahead and not even acknowledging the school's entirely reasonable proposal. This is a very serious issue, especially when it involves putting school children at risk from a privacy and safeguarding aspect, let alone the inevitable disruption the renovation works will cause. I will be sending a very firm email voicing my concerns to the Councillors imminently!
  8. I'm looking for a cleaner to do 4 hours a fortnight (8.30am - 12.30pm) preferably on a Thursday or Friday. I pay ?12ph and the role will be doing a thorough clean and the occasional bit of ironing. Please DM me if you're interested or can recommend anyone who is reliable, efficient and trustworthy. Many thanks. (Location: SE15 off Bellenden Road).
  9. Haha! Thanks rendelharris, much appreciated. Glad I'm not the only one having a thrilling Monday!
  10. Strange question I know, but does anyone know what size (litre-wise) the wheelie bins are here in Southwark? I want to order a wheelie bin 'shed' but don't know if we have the regular 140l or the larger 240l bins. First world problems and all that :) But any help appreciated!
  11. John just popped over on a Sunday morning to remove a load of excess boxes and rubble which the council won't take away. He was friendly, affable, helpful and did a great, swift job. It's so nice to find someone reliable and I will definitely use his services again. And suggest you do too if you need any excess rubbish collecting. Top bloke! His number is: 07904 038332
  12. I heard this on the radio too the other day and thought it sounded like a great idea! Although it could probably spark 'Poo Rage' as the dodgy dog-owners and their friends will no doubt take revenge if they find out who exactly snitched on them to the council.
  13. Quaint & Belle on Bellenden Road are also closing down and having a huge sale..
  14. I know this post will annoy some people, and I apologise to anyone who finds it offensive, but I had to find somewhere to vent my anger at the amount of dog mess that is littering our pavements lately. Especially on Adys Road which is a busy 'thoroughfare' for school children. I'm sure most dog owners are respectable and decent enough to clean up after their dogs, but can those who think it's okay to let their dogs just s**t all over the pavements and leave it there, please clean it up! This is a nice neighbourhood and we should be able to walk the streets without dodging dog mess. It's bad enough that the foxes do their business willy nilly on the pavements as they're a law unto themselves. But dog owners are responsible for their dogs' actions, and there are enough parks and green spaces, usually with dog litter bins, so there's no excuse. Rant over.
  15. If anyone can recommend a reliable, affordable and decent builder to do a kitchen extension and hall conversion, please can you get in touch! I'm starting to think that there is no such thing, as I have met numerous builders over recent months, and unfortunately the majority of them have not even had the decency to call back to say 'no thanks', let alone get back to me with a quote, so I'm getting weary of being messed around. Trustworthy, good communication and reliability are imperative, so if there is such a builder with these simple qualities, please can you send them my way. Thanks very much!
