  1. Just got alerted by an neighbour that there are two threads about this guys on here so just posting on both… Unfortunately I just had a bad experience with this guy this morning. I’ve seen him loads over the years up near where we live on Lordship Lane. We we have not engaged with him on our many encounters when he behaves as have been described here already. I have a teenage son and he knows to be mindful as well, ignoring him, crossing the road if he sees him. I walked past him today when he was standing in someone’s front garden on Lordship Lane, spitting and talking to himself, aggressive homophobic language. I ignored him and walked with my dog towards the library. Suddenly outside the church I was knocked from behind with great force, into the church railings. I’m in a lot of pain, neck, back and head and was quite shocked. He did the same further down the road to a teenage boy in a Harris Academy uniform. I saw him carrying on to The Plough bus stop where he also did a less forceful knock into an elderly gentleman. He then got on the 185 towards Camberwell. I’ve reported it to the police as this is the first time he’s been physically violent. It’s obvious that he has serious mental health problems. He’s also a lot bigger and stronger than he used to be and could have caused us serious injuries.

  3. Unfortunately our lovely dog groomer has some health problems and can't groom our dog anymore. Can anyone recommend a dog groomer who is used to dealing with large furry dogs? Keen for someone who won't just get the clippers out and good at communicating with us as owners i.e. wishes vs needs. We're not difficult...promise. Much appreciated.
  4. Thinking of using Rover.com to find dog boarding for our 1 year old dog for a week this summer. Has anyone used that site? Looks good and good reviews but I still stress about leaving him. Views and recommendations appreciated. Thank you!
  5. Found an empty, white AirPods type case on the football fields in Dulwich park. PM me if it?s yours!
  6. I know it's just a hat but it was a gift to cheer me up last year during a stressful time and I love it! Lost on a dog walk last week between Friern Road and One Tree Hill. I have retraced my steps but no luck :-( It's bright red (orange/red)and has a black label on the inside, Danish brand, bought at ED's Would love to have it back....but a long shot, I know.
  7. A card has arrived at our address for a Fiona Bundy, not known to us. Please DM me if you know her so I can make sure she gets her post! Thanks
  8. We received the first letter promising more info and how to sign up but got nothing. Our brown bin is still being collected so it fell off our radar completely! How do we sign up and pay? Southwark Council website? Thanks
  9. Hi sweetgirl I can see you've already had loads of advice :-) I just wanted to say that I bought a cream recently for dry skin/eczema that I developed around my eyes randomly. It was really getting me down. I've never had eczema before but the skin was red, almost inflamed, itchy and uncomfortable so I had a desperate search online. It's called Exeskin and I've included the link below (I bought it on Amazon). It?s absolutely amazing and the dry skin has completely gone! Bought some for my mum for Xmas as well as she?s got psoriasis. https://www.ultrabeehealth.co.uk/100-natural-exeskin-balm-for-dry-irritable-skin Might be worth checking out? It does smell a bit funky and has a similar consistency to Vaseline but I've had incredible results and wanted to share it with you.
  10. Hi Lucyalexandra My son has been to many laser quest parties with his East Dulwich mates over the years. They have all been at this place in Bromley....I don't know details or cost but know that food is included and the kids love it! Parents usually club together to drop off/pick up. http://www.quasarelitebromley.com/asp/home.asp
  11. If anyone has found a brand new black/yellow football kit with black socks, please PM me. Lost in Dulwich Park or on route Court Lane/Eynella Road. Thanks you.
  12. Hi Ole My son has been to plenty of laser quest parties here www.quasarelitebromley.com with his ED friends!
  13. Hi Jerryc My son is also loving Charter ED :-) Did you get the email about Yr 8 transport buddies? There were a variety of bus stops and times to link up and travel together but I'm not sure if it was just for the first week. No mini bus service this year as far as I know. My son takes the 12 or 343 bus. We live near Barry Road, so easy for him to catch the 12. He only really takes the 343 if friends are. What about taking the 484 from ED station (or walk?) to East Dulwich Road/Peckham Rye junction then walk left around the corner to catch the 343 or 12. Plenty of Charter ED students on those busses there and back. Some students take the 176 to Camberwell Green and walk from there but it's a slightly longer walk than from the 12 bus stop on Peckham Road. I know someone who has a girl at the school in Yr 8 and they live on the Dog Kennel Hill estate. I will check what route she takes. I hope you find a route you're all comfortable with!
