  1. Hello, I'm looking for a cat sitter for a few weekends/odd weeks - someone to pop in around 7am and 6/7pm each day to sort litter trays and feed my gal - I'd be really keen for any recommendations anyone might have. I'm Queens Road Peckham area. Thanks :)
  2. I am looking for someone who can help with a house move on Monday 3rd June - there are two of us moving from Lordship Lane - one to Herne Hill and one to Hammersmith - we're looking for someone with a van to help us with the move - please let me know if you have any recommendations.
  3. Hello, If your'e looking for a cleaner, I highly recommend Polly and her partner Stephen! They've been cleaning for us for a couple of years now, and do an excellent job every week - the place is always spotless after they've been. They're also really flexible and lovely to deal with. You can reach Polly on 07482 237 587
  4. I live in the area that was cordoned off for most of the morning. I took some cups of tea out to the police who were redirecting people and managing the road closure etc. They said they were surprised to be attending this kind of incident in LL. But a person died. Parents no longer have a son, people have lost a friend. What does it matter what postcode it happened in?
  5. Sure is! Next meeting is next Thursday at the Cherry Tree - the book is Autumn by Ali Smith. You'd be more than welcome - send me a message if you'd like any more details :) JDolman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi guys, is this still a regular thing? 6. I must have just gone round after you - they said the same to us, that they'd be stopped in like 20 minutes (so I guess 10pm). They don't even open until 10am so don't understand why it all needs to be done so late at night. Didn't look like they were finished last night either, so assume there'll be more to come. 7. If they're still working on the fitting rooms then they must be the fanciest fitting rooms the world has ever seen... Am about to go and have a word.. Again.
  8. I live next door and have been trying to work out where the noise was coming from but it all makes sense now! And it's definitely the shop? Might pop round myself as well then.
  9. Sorry, meant to do this earlier but just to say we're meeting the cherry tree this evening, 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Everyone welcome :)
  10. Just wanted to give this a wee bump to say that we're meeting next 7.30pm Thursday 20 September, 7.30pm most likely at Terriors - and the book we're discussing is His Bloody Project by Graeme Macrae Burnet. Please come along if you fancy :)
  11. Just to say we've set up a WhatsApp group and are developing a list of books and sorting out our first meeting, so if you'd like to be added please let me know :)
  12. Thanks everyone who has sent me their emails so far - I've got quite a few!! Will maybe wait until the end of the weekend and then send something out xx

  14. Im happy to have a go at setting one up - it looks like there's enough people interested? Maybe if everyone who'd like to come could DM me your email and we can try and find a date and a book?
  15. I would also be interested!! Or up for starting one?
