Swann Services: threatening and suspicious letter
maxpaterson replied to maxpaterson's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hey all. Thanks for your replies. Southwark have confirmed this is genuine. Swann could do with giving their letter writers a lesson in tact. -
We received a letter through the door yesterday from Swann Services claiming to be a contractor for Southwark council and demanding access to the communal area of our house otherwise they'd gain access via the services of a locksmith. They claim to have sought access on a number of occassions. They are not specific about the work they wish to carry out which leaves me suspicious. But it is their threatening and aggressive stance that makes me furious, particulary as we've burgled recently. I've contacted them via the number quoted but had to leave a message and still awaiting a reply. Has anyone else had this letter?

Man Utd after Dulwich Hamlets lad. Amazing!

Aye, definitely. Not sure what the ins and outs are with signing a player under 18, in terms of how much can be etc - but hopefully it'll be enough to really allow DH to take a step up in every sense -

Really, sounds a bit professional for a pre-pack sandwich and some crisps, unless they got into the back of the cash machine? -

Ah, perhaps. Wondered if they were after smashing the cash machine at the side of the door? -
Hey all, walking past the small Sainsburys on Lordship Lane, near The Plough, early this morning, and it's entire front door had been smashed, with what looked like bits of plastic car lights strewn across the floor. Strangely though, the bollards outside were untouched, anyone any ideas what happened?
