Hi - I am the SBM in a local primary school - East Dulwich / Peckham Rye - and we urgently need someone to cut a hedge that is spilling to far on to the public pavement, anyone who can do this out of school hours, please PM me. Over the weekend or early next week would be ideal. With thanks.

St John's and St Clement's - non Christian admissions

No, it ism't a waste of time to apply at all. They offer 35 faith places but they don't always get used. As you live so close there shouldn't be any reason why you shouldn't get offered a place. I have three children at the school - we live further than 300m away but in the neighbourhood so to speak. All of them are really happy at school. Hope that helps. -
Hi Who would I contact with regards to parking in Danby Street? It is a complete nightmare. We never manage to park near our house / sometimes even in our street during working hours in the week. The children actually cheer when we can park close by! Thank you. A disgruntled resident...

I can recommend High Vibe on Melbourne Grove. Gianni is great and you will see visible results after a few sessions. -
Urgent buggy in plane hold question!

We have done an awful lot of traveling with our two under fives and have always taken our buggy as far as the gate - from a Stokke, maclaren, quinny and Jane powertwin - never had a problems. They generally just ask you to fold it before they take it off you as they don't now how to do it themselves and then you pick it up at the other end. Only time we ever had a problem was in Rhodes when they put our Stokke on the conveyor with all the other luggage and it of course didn't fit and broke, but the insurance paid out when we came back so wasn't too bad! Congratulations and good luck. -
Just do it when they are ready and NOT when you are ready. My son was almost 3 and my daughter had just turned 2 and they went straight from nappies to using the toilet day and night. Try to rush it and it can take longer. If you start toilet training and it just isn't happening then stop for a week or two and then try again. Lots of praise always seems to help but I don't think this is the key. It is more about their little minds and bodies telling them they are ready to move on a stage in their development. Good luck.

It does get better - well just a bit anyway - 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 - probably get 1 full nights sleep a week. One of them always seems to wake up and want cuddles or to get into our bed! Oh the joys - would you change it? No.

Can anyone recommend a ballet class for a 2 1/2 year old (from September). Nothing too strict, just a bit of fun for a little girl who wants to do ballet. Thanks.

I know you want to go private (very expensive route if needed long term) but we had great success with the therapists at Sunshine House.

I can recommend The Villa - my son loves attending and has thrived so much there that we are sending him to the school. They have a website and are located on Lyndhurst Grove. They too have a 'long' waiting list. http://www.thevillaschoolandnursery.co.uk/ Good luck.
