Done for an illegal right turn

I received a fine for doing an illegal right turn. They sent a picture of me doing it. Anyone know any excuses I could use to appeal against it?

You could always plead that you were not turning right out of the road but reversing into it to turn left, thats if it is a single picture as evidence. or offer to buy a couple of tickets for the Policemans Ball.

Tell them you can only see out of your right eye and find it physically impossible to safely turn left, so you have to do three rights each time.

No it was in Clapham. It was not only photographed but filmed as well! I've been caught bang to rights but sometimes you can appeal on technicalities, such as the position of the sign and stuff like that. I begrudge paying parking and traffic contraventions as those kuntz have always got their hands out.

My best mate was only 21 when someone did an illegal turn in front of the bike she was riding pillion on. She suffered horrific internal damage, required months in hospital, had to learn to walk all over again and was left permanently disfigured.

Guess that makes me biased.

Listen, is there some sort of voluntary charity work I can do to make up for my comments about cyclists ? Or maybe a spot of self flaggelation seeing as I'm a catholic boy.
