Bring back our lovely street sweeper. About 6 months ago we noticed that our road was really messy. Previously we had been blessed with the best sweeper in town. Then he was gone moved to LL. Now rarely do I see a person with a picky up thing and no sweeping. I called southwark to ask what was happening. A little flurry of activity and now sporadic again. I dont blame the litter people . The council have obviously had some wierd new policy implemented Sorry feeling v ranty today!

      Disappearing post boxes

      Hoping to get Mum's Mothering day card to her in good time. I get to the post box at the end of Goodrich Road and it is all taped up. There is a note with a QR code and something about scanning the code etc. How does this help me get that card to its rightful owner? Never mind, there is another post box near Goodrich Rd school. It's on my way home. I get there and hesitate. The sign with the list of posting times has been ripped out and the box looks unused. I decide not to chance it and go home with card. Eventually I get to post it after a trip to the post office. What's going on with our post boxes?
