just finished watching england beat australia in RWC quarters, then in the adverts straight afterwards i'm sure I saw the crystal palace tavern bogs used as the location for an energy company advert. anyway, it was an unbelieveable result, we were magnificent.

Annoyingly they filmed it really early in the morning with good looking extras, so we didn't get our faces on telly... Not even the staff were allowed to be in it!

I never saw it though as I was rather drunk, the previous evening having caught up on me by the time I'd had a couple of pints and the evil shots some git was buying me!!!

    • But you said they were on bikes, didn't you? Which to some people would mean that they can't be in the wrong.
    • I don’t know that area but I’d love a house with a walk in larder.    What period is your house?
    • As I’ve said above this was nothing to do with Halloween. Maybe I misled by mentioning masks. I’m talking about full face coverings rather than funky  scary masks. And Mal what word would you choose to describe to young men who didn’t just steal a phone but attacked and punched a young kid in the face until it was swollen and bleeding and he was hardly able to put a sentence together.
    • Thanks for posting DKH and very much agree with your views Penguin, whilst you have a good point, you, and others, whenever you use terms like scum, or in this case scrote, it comes over all reactionary and dilutes your point. That's not diminishing that all crimes against the person are wrong, but I want a world where we all get on rather than go down the populist approach of demonsing groups of people in our community.
