Thursday afternoon/evening childcare

We are looking for a Part-time child-carer, available to work just Thursday evening in the first instance. Our 6 year old son is a bright child with Asperger's syndrome ? talkative and friendly. Some previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential.

After school duties begin at 330pm or 4pm and involve going straight to our son?s school (near Marylebone station) to meet him and accompanying him back to our home in East Dulwich in a pre-booked taxi and then starting the after school routine with him - washing hands, changing out of school uniform and playing together - before I arrive back to cook dinner for him, usually at 6pm.

Being able to chat and keep our son engaged in the car journey is essential.

We have some childcare already in place but we are looking for some new help because one of our carers has a full time internship starting and our existing carers cannot cover Thurs afternoon. Please PM back or tel on 07904 207378 and we can chat further about what might work.

    • Hi Nigello, Many spayed/neutered & microchipped cats actually don't wear collars, as they often go missing & can pose risks.  Microchipping is far more reliable for reuniting lost cats with their guardians. Some of our clients even keep sacks of collars on standby because their cats frequently return without them - a comical but telling example of how impractical collars can be. A major contributor to unspayed/unneutered cats & kittens is purchasing from breeders, where these measures are often overlooked. Adopting from shelters, on the other hand, ensures all precautionary steps - like spaying/neutering, microchipping, as well as vaccinations - are already in place.
