Can anyone recommend a small local charity preferably close to sydenham that I can support. I am about to launch my own business so would very much like to use my business to help fundraise for a local charity. Thanks for your help.

There is the CASSEL Centre in Waldram Park Road, SE23. It stands for Counselling and Social Work South East London.

A charity which provides low cost counselling and psychotherapy for people living in Lewisham. It also provides placements for social work, counselling, psychotherapy students. Also for student Art/Drama therapists.

Bulk of income is provided by Clinical Governance Group but the Charity has to raise funds themselves to meet the running costs of the premises and staffing.
