Space in ED Nanny Share - August

Recommended Posts

We will be leaving our wonderful nanny share in August and are looking for a local family to take our place 4/5 days a week. Our son has been with nanny Jaki since he was a year old (he is now three) and in that time we have seen him flourish in to a confident, caring, and well mannered young boy. Our only reason for the move is that we would like him to experience a nursery environment before starting school next year.

The share will be with two one year old girls and is hosted by a family in the Bellenden Road area. The hours are 7:30am/8am-6pm and a bonus is that Jaki picks the children up in the morning and drops them home each evening, which is a massive help for working Mums and Dads. Unfortunately Jaki can't do nursery pick ups / drop offs as the timing won't work.

Jaki has been a nanny for over 25 years and, with grown up children and grandchildren of her own, is extremely capable and loving. Having looked after lots of children during her career, including babies as young as 6 months, she instills confidence in us parents that our children are very well cared for.

Jaki prepares fresh meals (including soft food for weaning babes) and snacks for the children each day, which they sit to eat at the table together. They have a great routine and all have daily naps which Jaki sets up travel cots for, to make them comfortable and cosy. Each day is varied, Jaki takes them out to parks, playgrounds, local farms and soft play. They interact with other children looked after by local nannies and do crafts / play with toys at home.

I cannot credit Jaki enough for the lovely behaviour she has instilled in my son and all the extra support she has given me as a first time Mum (babysitting / a listening ear). The children get on so well and really look forward to being around each other, which is heart warming to see.

Please feel free to comment below with general questions or direct message me if you would like some more info / have a chat and I can introduce you to Jaki and the other families.

Thanks,

Louisa

    • You can get a really good and cheap holiday at caravan sites early or late in the season using vouchers from The Sun.  Well worth paying the fine for.  I think it is where Martyn Lewis holidays The Sun is popular in East Dulwich too as it was featured: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/21722594/we-dont-want-a-poundland-in-our-posh-neighbourhood/
    • Nope that is boring,  I want something creative.  Maybe turn them into Xmas cards.  I understand from those daytime television programmes that don't involve buying houses, DIY, antiques, bargain hunting and the second World War that this is called 'upcycling'. AI suggests: Upcycling old cheque books can involve repurposing the paper from old checks into creative items like notebooks, journals, art pieces, gift tags, bookmarks, decorative paper, or even small boxes, by cutting, decorating, and assembling the paper to create new functional or decorative objects, while ensuring any personal banking information is properly obscured or removed. And there is vid too
