?Once Upon a Christmas Time??

We are delighted to announce an enchanting new art show called ?Once Upon a Christmas Time? by The Little Picture Company, held in conjunction with children?s charity Make a Wish Foundation UK. The show will take place locally, in the Jeannie Avent Gallery in East Dulwich from 29th October until 9th November.

The Little Picture Company is a gallery which offers a magical world of art for children, filled with lasting treasures that will spark children's imaginations. This is an opportunity to see the unique works of art from our talented team of eight local artists and our beautiful new product lines. As the festive season approaches, this will be a perfect chance to do some gift shopping for the little ones in your life!

We are holding an exclusive preview evening on 28th October, where we will open the new show to the public and will be getting into the Christmas spirit early with festive gourmet cupcakes and champagne. Come and meet our lovely artists whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly! If you would like to attend this event please RSVP to [email protected] as soon as possible.

A portion of all proceeds from the show will be donated to 'Make a Wish Foundation UK', a charity which grants wishes to children fighting life-threatening illnesses. So it?s in aid of a good cause as well!

As if that wasn?t enough to persuade you, there will also be a drop-in colour consultation at the Jeannie Avent Gallery with artist Jenny Newport on 6th November, from 12pm until 4pm. Jenny will be happy to discuss any particular colour requirements you might have and to match her art work to suit your interiors.

We look forward to meeting you! x

    • That’s fantastic- well done - fingers crossed you find the owner
    • Well done.   If you're interested in helping to possibly nail down the perp -- to get them identified at least, even if the police/CPS don't end up with enough for a prosecution -- I wonder if it would be helpful to: (1) contact Lime now, to tell them of the time and location and incident, and that you are reporting the theft to the police, and ask them if they are able and willing to check their bike location records for the incident and _retain_ them for use by the police.  It may be that records of each bike user's travels may not be retained long after their hire period has ended.  And (2) notify the police on-line, with the basic facts.
    • Hi, To the young lady who had her phone stolen by a lime bike this evening at the junction of Brenchley Gardens and Forest Hill rd. I chased the thief and retrieved your phone. When i returned to the junction, you were gone. If you are reading this or know her, DM me.
    • Hi ED, I live on Landcroft road, and from the windows of the back of the property you can hear a whistling noise in the area (sounds like a faulty boiler but louder) occurring every 5-10 minutes for a few seconds. It has been happening for the past week at least. It does not seem to come from the immediate homes around. Does anyone know what this is or where it is coming from? Thanks!
