New Festival in Brockwell Park ? kids performing only

It's on 16th September at 2pm by Brockwell Hall featuring over 20 acts. A proper sound set up and the acts are from Junior Open Mic events at Off The Cuff Bar and Junior Open Mic events at Brixton Ritzy. It's a celebration of young peoples' musical journeys and will feature a real mix of performers ranging from 4-17, recordists, ukulists, singers, beatboxers, a punk band, comedy.   Yes, Persepolis definitely coming to SE22, we ate in the legendary Peckham branch last week and the Lordship Lane offshoot was confirmed. It will be called Simorgh. Doubt if the new one will have a roof terrace overlooking the Job Centre though!
