Hello,

I have a lovely double bedroom available to rent Monday - Friday, on Goodrich Road. The room is on the first floor of a two floor maisonette. You?d have primary use of the main bathroom which has a bath and a shower. The kitchen and living room are also on the first floor. My bedroom and shower room are upstairs.

Rent is ?120 per week including all bills and fibre broadband and a ?500 deposit.

The area is served by many buses and the following train station are a short bus ride away: East Dulwich, Peckham Rye, Denmark Hill, Honor Oak, Forest Hill. The postcode is SE22 0ER.

There is street parking available (no permit needed) and there is a spare cycle spot at the front of the house. I cycle to Brixton (20 mins) and get the tube from there.

  So let's never do anything that might improve an area, because it will just be dragged down to the level of what's presently there? Is that what you are saying? I don't have the time or the inclination to do the research, but I'm pretty sure that I have read that when people who had lived in a very run down area were given nice surroundings, they appreciated and looked after them.
