Folding bike

Looking to buy a used folding bike in good condition, ideally with gears. It is for commuting - I?m looking to borrow or buy used to make sure the commute by train / bike will work for me (before I invest in a new bike if needed)

Or does anyone have a folding bike I could rent for a few weeks?
