Have a pair of these unusual but rather sweet vintage circular wall paintings / plaques. The painting is a reverse glass image where the convex glass is painted on the inside.

They're a little hard to describe but I'll have a go...

The wall plaques depict the same scene - an oriental landscape featuring a pair of cranes, trees blossom, a tea house, a sailing vessel etc. The colours are bright and cheerful. The interior background panel features a skyscape - blue sky with fluffy white clouds.

The foreground painting, in the right light, casts shadows on the background giving the panel a 3D effect.

In the right interior, hung on a hallway or lounge wall, it'd be a talking point :)
