40 mins after lights out and still trying to get our 10 month old to go to sleep, maybe it wasn't my most brainiac move to do present opening directly before bed! Hope everyone has had a lovely day!

We definitely have had an exhausted but existing on 40 mins only of nap toddler today and yesterday - totally overstimulated! However he went out like a little Christmas light at 630 which is crazy early for him - 8pm usual bedtime!

9pm and 2.8yr old refusing sleep here. He did nap though and we let him sleep too long...now we pay!

We have had a glorious Christmas, though our house was burgled while we were in Devon. Still, the burglars are probably more disappointed with their haul than we are with our losses - the joys of having a 23 year old telly:)

Seriously though, it was a good reminder of the things that really matter - my amazing family, friends (inc fab forumites) and neighbours, good cheer and the basics of life. Oh, and gin.
