I saw a cat being hit by a car trying to cross the road just next to 306 Medical Centre. The driver briefly stopped until the cat got up and scampered off. Not much they could have done to avoid it, the cat ran out from underneath a car.

The cat survived the immediate accident and ran down an alleyway east of Lordship Lane, but it was such a serious collision I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't make it through the night.

Another passer by tried to run after it ? she reckoned it was black and white, but I was pretty sure it was a tabby (sorry if this is less than helpful, but just saying what we both saw).

    • Saw someone being clippered today, so maybe its both
    • I've also been wondering about this. I haven't seen anyone carrying out the 'essential repairs'. It seems a shame (and a waste of money) to create this nice feature and then let it fall into disrepair. I used to enjoy standing on it and looking at the ducks and so did many other people, including children. Walking around the lake isn't the same at all.
    • My least favourite pub on the planet, and there are some awful places out there.  I'll give it a miss.
    • The service diabolical, which is increased when your ill or have additional needs. I am really pleased for you, that as a new patient, your experiences are "poles apart". might be better to read back and you will see things have been put in writing to this organization. Emails are generally ignored by the practice, but notice a response does arrive when including the head office email address and thew CQC. In regards to a cozy meeting, nah. Tried that, very little is changed. I had to wait a week for a sickness certificate this month. My line manager did not believe I had contacted my GP practice. I had broken the sickness policy, by not presenting a sick certificate on my first day of sickness. Lots of apology, and a disgruntled line manager.  Referring back to your comment, am I not allowed to express myself on a public forum?
