Just asking for a sense check. There are no private schools for girls/mixed with boarding facilities near Dulwich, correct? Only Dulwich College for boys? About to buy a house in Herne Hill and might long-term need a boarding school for daughter if our work takes us overseas. But ideally would have her as a day pupil for when we are in the UK. But struggling to find any schools with boarding facilities for girls which are a sensible commute from HH/Dulwich. Would love to be corrected!

Hi you might want to consider Woldingham school, although it appears to be far the journey from Herne hill is doable, as you can either get a train to Victoria and then a train straight to Woldingham, or go to Denmark hill and change at Clapham junction, aprt 45 minutes all in, at Clapham junction there are at least 30-40 girls getting on.

Once the girls arrive at Woldingham Station the school is actually on the grounds of the train station, they are picked up by the school coach and driven up to the school.

They offer day pupil, flexi boarding where you can stay 1/2 night a week, weekly boarding and full boarding.

I have known a very few girls (one or two at a time, often on a short term basis)board at Dulwich College, obviously they don't attend the school itself, but they have been accommodated in a boarding house.

Not sure if they still do that, but I would advise you to ask!

AI suggests: Upcycling old cheque books can involve repurposing the paper from old checks into creative items like notebooks, journals, art pieces, gift tags, bookmarks, decorative paper, or even small boxes, by cutting, decorating, and assembling the paper to create new functional or decorative objects, while ensuring any personal banking information is properly obscured or removed.
