Saw this on Sunday, excellent exhibition again from the DPG.

Aside from the technical and design brilliance in these prints, you get a feel for the/a style of that period, which is art-deco-y.

Some great prints and interesting to see the some of the designs used in public domain posters i.e. London Underground posters, Wimbledon, cricket events.

For me this was a great follow-up after the Harold Solhlberg exhibition (which was superb).

    • I've also been wondering about this. I haven't seen anyone carrying out the 'essential repairs'. It seems a shame (and a waste of money) to create this nice feature and then let it fall into disrepair. I used to enjoy standing on it and looking at the ducks and so did many other people, including children. Walking around the lake isn't the same at all.
    • My least favourite pub on the planet, and there are some awful places out there.  I'll give it a miss.
    • The service diabolical, which is increased when your ill or have additional needs. I am really pleased for you, that as a new patient, your experiences are "poles apart". might be better to read back and you will see things have been put in writing to this organization. Emails are generally ignored by the practice, but notice a response does arrive when including the head office email address and thew CQC. In regards to a cozy meeting, nah. Tried that, very little is changed. I had to wait a week for a sickness certificate this month. My line manager did not believe I had contacted my GP practice. I had broken the sickness policy, by not presenting a sick certificate on my first day of sickness. Lots of apology, and a disgruntled line manager.  Referring back to your comment, am I not allowed to express myself on a public forum?
