Hello there,

my name is Marie. I am 25 years old and I have been living in London for nearly two and a half years.

For most of that time have been working as a Nanny/Childminder.

I am looking for a job as a living out Nanny/Childminder for 5days a week, I am flexible on hours.

I really enjoy working with children; caring for them and watching them grow up.

I have experience with children aged 0-5 years old.

I have experience working under pressure as, with three children to look after, I have often had to deal with sick child, a hungry child and child in a tantrum at the same time.

I have been working with two families in East Dulwich.

Duties included:

Being responsible for the safety, well being, care and development

Getting children ready in the morning and taking them to school.

Helping them with their homework.

Stimulating children to read and be active.

Planning and organising age related activities.

Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.

Playing with the children and taking them to the park, to the museums, to their activities (Tennis, swimming,Perform..)

I study English two days a week and I am planning to take FCE( Cambridge First Certificate ) in September.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank You,

Marie

    • It’s already been scaled down by those who don’t want change for the last 15+ years
    • It's about scale.  London was a low rise city and the massive developments in the Elephant, Vauxhall Cross, the City and no doubt elsewhere have come from Livingstone's time as Mayor where he recognised that we need far more office space in London to compete on the world financial circuit,  That said interesting that there is still massive investment in retail such as Battersea Power Station and Kings Cross at a time where more and more purchases are on line. As with everything there is probably an acceptable compromise and perhaps the project will be scaled down a little.
