MOSAIC DEL SUR - MOSAIC FACTORY

Encaustic cement tiles

60 tiles total

20 x 20 cm

Will cover floor area of 2.4 metres / 25 tiles cover 1 square metre

4 boxes - 3 of 4 are unopened.

With VAT, the price was ?108 per metre plus shipping

Price for the 4 boxes: ?140

From the Mosaic Factory:

Cement tiles are composed of grey or white Portland cement, marble powder, sand, cement pigments, and water. These components are mixed, moulded and then pressed. The hardening, maturing and drying process of cement is made naturally by air, gradually over time, without the use of ovens.

Each tile of 20x20cm (16 mm thickness) weighs 1,35 kg, thus a total of 35 kilos/m2.

  I've had recent UPS deliveries from India & Sweden which have been delivered with no problems and in a very timely manner. I suspect problems may be more evident on internal (to UK) movements, I've nothing to complain about with their international service.

  Obviously not shattering compared to many life problems, but relatively minor annoyances add up to become a horrible background buzz to life I've just phoned and cancelled the order. Getting a refund. I'll get it from somewhere else. 🤬 Oh, that is annoying. What has DPD got to say about it?

  DPD are just as bad. Twice they failed to come and pick up my parcel, and both times the website said they'd been and gone despite me knowing they hadn't because I was standing outside my home within the hour window they provided and I was live tracking the van location. The message on the website went from "We'll be there in 15 minutes", to "There was no parcel to collect", while I was waiting outside the door! No DPD van in sight. Twice in 2 weeks.
