Daughter got it for a bday present from me so would like to sell it and use the money to put towards something new for the garden.

    • I’m not sure there was ever a collective aspiration for SM, Sparts. Some kind of ideal may have been sold but those controlling it may have a different view on what it will do for them. Undoubtedly much damage can be done on both the individual and collective level. And has been. Sometimes I wonder if enough damage has been done to justify quite Draconian restrictions, particularly on those trying to propagate mindsets.
    • Hi - my son has his music scholarship assessment for Year 7 entrance to Kingsdale this Saturday, and I cannot find anywhere what is expected for the written musical aptitude tests. I have read all the supporting documentation and emailed the school (with no answer), but it all seems very opaque. I'm assuming it will be something a child with not much music theory will be able to do, but it would nice to be able to give him just an idea of what's expected, so he's prepared. He has worked hard on his pieces, so wouldn't want him to be let down elsewhere. His music teacher doesn't seem to know, and I'm struggling to find out from elsewhere. I see there are piano schools offering tuition in it at £100 a pop, but I don't have that sort of money - I don't really like the idea that it is something you need to be tutored in! Is it just saying which note is higher or lower, how many notes in a chord type thing? I presumed that would be in the aural test, but maybe not? Any help gratefully received! Thanks very much
    • Our cat Pepper has been missing from the Dovercourt Road area (Court Lane end) since Friday 13 September (photo attached). She’s black & white with a black nose and a distinctive small white triangle by her nose.   She is friendly but cautious, so we’re hoping she’s been shut in somewhere. We’d be really grateful if you could doublecheck any outdoor rooms/ sheds etc. Please DM me if you see her.    Thanks so much
    • At Peckham Rye end. Surname Krahn. If it's yours DM your initial and bank. I will hold onto it for a couple if days then destroy.
