Moving light fittings - help please!

Hi,

This is my first post, as I just moved to the area. I hope you will be patient with me if my question is a bit stupid!

I need to move a light fitting in the ceiling by about 4 feet (from the centre of the room off to one side), replaster the hole, and hang a heavy light in the new fitting location. I also need to add two wall light fittings on a wall which has no existing light fittings, and mount two lights on those. Can anyone tell me what sort of trades-person (/trades-people?) I need to do this, and recommend solmeone that would be good for the job?

Thanks so much in advance!

Graeme

Hi KidKruger, thanks for replying. I can access the floor above, I just don't know how to get an electrical output installed at the right point in the ceiling, or what sort of materials I need to put there to support the light fitting (and what category of trades-person I need to do this for me).

AI suggests: Upcycling old cheque books can involve repurposing the paper from old checks into creative items like notebooks, journals, art pieces, gift tags, bookmarks, decorative paper, or even small boxes, by cutting, decorating, and assembling the paper to create new functional or decorative objects, while ensuring any personal banking information is properly obscured or removed.
