Help! Electrician or pure luck needed: Light fitting.

Recommended Posts

Hi forum

I have a dilemma. I live in rented accommodation and we've smashed one of the light shades in our kitchen. It is a 4-bar spotlight. :(

We need to either get a replacement shade or replace the whole light fitting.

The shade is frosted and clear glass with 6.5cm diameter and 9cm height. It is secured with 3 screw in pins.

I would be amazed if we could get a replacement

I am happy to receive quotes via email for now as I will not be home tomorrow. My pictures are too large to attach but I can send them to you if requested.

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
