there is a variety / choice of induction hobs on offer. By the time you have the trouble of 2nd hand buy or rent, why not new? I was in a top restaurant in Germany recently, they didn't have a single unit for cooking. They had 4 separate induction unit free standing on counter tops and then various separate ovens. I have a "camping" induction and a 5 burner induction electric hob / oven in my kitchen

Lidl or Aldi often sell these for about $35 - on Amazon for about ?55
