Wanted: someone to refurb my dresser

I have an old dresser (pine) which works fine but would look lovely with a coat of paint and a few bits and bobs repaired. Any recommendations much appreciated.

I don't think dressers require upholstering?

Amydown, you could try doing a search on here for either a recommended carpenter or handyman, depending on the complexity of the things that need doing apart from the painting?

Thank you Sue. I think it probably is a basic capenter job, no upholstery required, just sanding it down, paint and repair some of the door/ drawers.

I don't know if he's still around but a carpenter called Malcolm did some minor repairs for me on an old cupboard.

He didn't paint it, but he did a good and careful job of painting some floating shelves he also built for me.

I would use him again for both carpentry and painting.
