Best antique / quirky stuff market in London - any recommendations?

Recommended Posts

Hey Little Miss,

There's some great ones around. My partners mother is a dealer and comes down to London regularly to attend some.

She consideres the best ones to be:

Battersea Boot Fair

Spitalfields market on a Thursday for antiques, or Friday & Sunday for general market

Camden market on a Sunday

Hope this helps and have fun!

I think you might mean Kempton Park, google Sunbury Antiques for dates (two Tuesdays a month). Yes, an early start but it's an easy train journey from Vauxhall and great fun with lots of traders indoors and out.

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
