Fox in peckham rye park

Did anyone else see an overly friendly fox in the park this weekend eating bread by the duck pond?

I did see an overly friendly fox in the park, by the duck pond- but it was eating maltesers sorry.

I don't think it could have been the same one. Did it have ginger hair?

I think fox's are entitled to be friendly. I mean that in a non-bestiality way.

I saw the fox and it was indeed behaving strangely. Being out in broad daylight, wandering around in the open, scavenging for bits of duck food and seemingly completely unafraid of humans are all atypical behaviours, suggesting that the fox is ill, usually with a severe case of mange. This one looked fairly healthy and was very young. Perhaps simply a new adaptive behaviour of the urban fox?

I did see a Fox run into Sydenham Wells Park, with a squirrel (of all things) in his mouth.

The Fox was smiling, but the squirrel wasn't.
