Ed has done several jobs for us over the last few years - installing a new oven, re-routing some untidy electrics, replacing a faulty switch unit etc, and we've always been more than happy with the work. He will discuss and explain what he is doing and any options, his rates are reasonable and he's a thoroughly nice guy to have working in your home.

    • Not sure what point you are making I have long since been aware of the issues, and would never have gone for it.  Maybe it cannot be applied without capturing damp.  I question why government part funded it.  But I also question why individuals did not do their own research.  This took me five second, it took longer to cut and paste it here: Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors The RICS advises homeowners to get independent advice from a qualified professional who is not affiliated with the installer or manufacturer. They also recommend not installing spray foam in listed or protected buildings without prior consent.   Property Care Association The PCA recommends that homeowners carry out appropriate checks to determine if spray foam is suitable for their roof. They also created a protocol for surveyors and lenders to make informed decisions about properties with spray foam insulation.     HomeOwners Alliance The HomeOwners Alliance recommends that homeowners avoid installing spray foam roof insulation.
