Ruffler
Lambeth, Southwark and Morley Colleges offer them. http://www.morleycollege.ac.uk/departments/access_to_higher_education Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32151-colleges-which-offer-access-courses/#findComment-644071 Share on other sites
purple<3
I did call Southwark (now LeSoCo) .. But they don't offer the courses to under 19, will look at the other two, thanks! Ruffler
Ah, I think you may have the same problem at Morley and Lambeth too. I think most access courses are 19+ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32151-colleges-which-offer-access-courses/#findComment-644073 Share on other sites
purple<3
Yeah that's the thing I'm having problems with.. You see, the universities offer them to 18's too but they cost ridiculous money, college would be better like that, if I could find one! intexasatthe moment
Have you looked at B Tech courses ,or HNC ,HND as an alternative route into uni if you lack a levels ?Have you looked at Birkbeck Uni in London http://www.bbk.ac.uk/prospective/certificates/entry-requirementsSorry if I'm not reading your query correctly ,I'm a bit foggy brained at present but trying to pretend I'm not ! purple<3
Aha, lol.. Yeah Birkbeck is the only University I don't want to go to.. But apart from that universities cost way too much for these short courses! - Which are offered practically for free at colleges! In a bit of a mess :S Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32151-colleges-which-offer-access-courses/#findComment-644126 Share on other sites
OverTheRainbows
If the issue if that you need to complete in a year, how about one year of intensive A level courses? Some colleges offer them, though not sure about ones in this area. Have you tried going to Connexions? They should have up-to-date information on what's available and they should be able to offer you more tailored advice...http://www.centrallondonconnexions.org.uk/tabid/164/Default.aspx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32151-colleges-which-offer-access-courses/#findComment-644298 Share on other sites
