16 year old looking for paid job

Hi,

I'm looking for a paid job that I can take on. I am free all days of the week, weekdays after school from 4pm unless its the holidays in which case I am free all day. I am up to do pretty much anything.

This is not going to be easy Oban.

The law changed two years ago. If under 18 years there are two options - work experience or paid work. Problem with both is the staff working around anyone under the age of 18 years need to undergo a CRB check. Alot of employers do not want this hastle so dont bother.

You will need to find an employer who does not know if this change and wish for the best! I understand the idea around child safety - but not the best way to give our younger members of society the opportunity to gain experience for their CV's. Very difficult and limiting.
