Questions and worries you may have:

I don't even know what roped climbing, bouldering and auto-belay mean!

No worries, we will start from scratch, and everything will be explained.

I have a fear of heights, is this course suitable for me?

Absolutely! It is quite normal to have a fear of heights but you'll have to start somewhere if you want to give climbing a go. There is no expectation/pressure for participants get to the top of the walls (or even off the ground). And trust me, the fear will become less and less, the more you practice (if you do it the right way, more about this on the course).

I am worried, I'll embarrass myself!

No need to worry. This is a group of supportive women, and the climbing wall is small and it's likely we'll have it all to ourselves. Yes, climbing can make you feel vulnerable and exposed, but remember, we are all in the same boat. And we'll own it! Besides: Just the fact that you are part of it just shows how brave you are!

I have medical conditions/disabilities

Please do message me, so we can talk it through and see if this activity is suitable for you. Climbing can be beneficial to a range of medical conditions and disabilities when practiced correctly.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

AI suggests: Upcycling old cheque books can involve repurposing the paper from old checks into creative items like notebooks, journals, art pieces, gift tags, bookmarks, decorative paper, or even small boxes, by cutting, decorating, and assembling the paper to create new functional or decorative objects, while ensuring any personal banking information is properly obscured or removed.
