Looking for a carpenter/joiner to build bespoke trap/floor door

We are looking for a carpenter to build a trap/floor/hatch door for access from our first floor flat to the garden. There was previously a banister around the stair case. Please message me or reply to the post with your recommendations.

Hi Trixie, I can highly recommend Jake Dunn, who has undertaken lots of bespoke carpentry work for me, including cupboards, wardrobes and shelves. Local, very fairly priced and works to a deadline.

Hi,

We did exactly what you mentioned you would like to do. We had quite a few people around to quote who mostly didn't get back to us as they couldn't get their head around the idea. We ended up using one of the Dads who advertises as a handyman/Carpenter on Fairlawn Primary's website. I believe his name was Nick. It is really important to get the best hinges which my husband found. It was fantastic when done as it doubled the size of our kitchen.
