beansprout
Hi, A friend of mine is looking for large print books for her elderly relative. Before I start trawling the charity shops, wondering if anyone is looking one had any to give away or buy. He has a broad interest. Thank you. Moovart
Have they tried their local library delivery service for the elderly? Free and wider choice of books. beansprout
Yes but where we are in Devon there is a very limited supply. Also had a chat with RIB but they couldn’t help. They did have books but they were around £20 each. I am short of time so can’t trot into local libraries and look to see if they have anything on their sale counter. Was wondering if there was a bookshop that might help - did google but simply don’t have the time to e mail them all or go to them all Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/356371-large-print-books-hard-or-paperback/#findComment-1693681 Share on other sites
Moovart
A quick Google search found this service in Devon including several large print books and a home delivery service for those that can't get to a library. Might be worth a look if you haven't already considered this. Good luck. https://discover.librariesunlimited.org.uk/our-services Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/356371-large-print-books-hard-or-paperback/#findComment-1693704 Share on other sites
