Hi,

we are looking for someone kind, reliable and experienced to provide wraparound care for our two boys who will be 2years9 months and 9months old at the time of starting. We live in SE23 and are looking for someone to care for the children ideally in our home in the morning from around 7 and drop them at a local nursery from 8AM. Initially this would be only on Wednesdays and Thursdays but my work hours will increase in summer 2026 so there is the likelihood of increasing hours. We would also be need ocassional help with nursery pick up and starting evening routine on Weds and Thursdays and these evenings would be agreed 6 weeks in advance as per our work schedules.

The candidate would have excellent references and ideally DBS check and knowledge of basic first aid. Very grateful for any personal recommendations or if this sounds like a role that might suit you please get in touch.

    • @CPR Dave What do you consider is the end game in the US/Israel attack on Iran.  Surely the US considered the impact on global trade.  I really don't believe the current leadership care. Interesting that one criticism that this alliance makes is the lack of free media/free speech, yet everything coming out of America and Israel is justifying their action.  Talk about regime change confuses me when they talk about the killing of citizens in Iran by the regime.  Israel, and (in recent times) to a lesser extent the US, have killed many civilians. Back to the thread, best thing I've found in these situations is not to drive.  Funnily enough in the fuel shortage of 2000, I managed to get some fuel at this service station.  Maybe the only time I have ever used it.
    • I had heard of recent calls - North Somerset Councillor but my cursory search about Barkenham (very apt name) was out of date. I did see Bolzano in Italy and in Spain.
    • That comment is genuinely the stupidest thing I have ever read on this forum.
    • Thanks Anyone remember, getting out of bed years ago to be first in gas queue?  Hoping not going to happen again….who knows!  One has to pay, simple as that or walk or take pb transport or taxi/ uber..
