I’m a solo mum of a wonderful, smiley 4 month old and I’m looking for support with child care for half a day per week.

ABOUT YOU:

- current DBS and paediatric first aid training

- experience with babies

- caring, responsible and reliable

- ok with cats… there are two that live in the flat plus various other animals that live outside in the garden (rabbits and ducks!)

ABOUT US:

I am an artist and work part time as a gardener. I’m not intending to return to the gardening work until May (at the earliest) but I would like to get into the studio again as soon as possible. I’m looking for someone to help me do this (and/or allow me a bit of time for myself) by looking after my little boy for half a day a week. I can be flexible on which day and whether it’s a morning or an afternoon which might help to fit around other families your support or other work. But once agreed, I’d like that time to stay consistent so that I can forward plan. We are based in Telegraph Hill, SE4.

If you’re interested in the role, please send a private message and tell me a bit about you. We can then arrange a telephone conversation and after that a meet if we’re the right fit.

Many thanks - Carrie

    • @CPR Dave What do you consider is the end game in the US/Israel attack on Iran.  Surely the US considered the impact on global trade.  I really don't believe the current leadership care. Interesting that one criticism that this alliance makes is the lack of free media/free speech, yet everything coming out of America and Israel is justifying their action.  Talk about regime change confuses me when they talk about the killing of citizens in Iran by the regime.  Israel, and (in recent times) to a lesser extent the US, have killed many civilians. Back to the thread, best thing I've found in these situations is not to drive.  Funnily enough in the fuel shortage of 2000, I managed to get some fuel at this service station.  Maybe the only time I have ever used it.
    • I had heard of recent calls - North Somerset Councillor but my cursory search about Barkenham (very apt name) was out of date. I did see Bolzano in Italy and in Spain.
    • That comment is genuinely the stupidest thing I have ever read on this forum.
    • Thanks Anyone remember, getting out of bed years ago to be first in gas queue?  Hoping not going to happen again….who knows!  One has to pay, simple as that or walk or take pb transport or taxi/ uber..
