You're sounding a bit Reform there aren't you @malumbu Because this time four years ago he, and his party, were calling on voters to do the polar opposite. Actually, I would probably be quite fun on Question Time - you know those sanguine pragmatists who treat all politicians the same and aren't blinded by their own ideology and actually insist on proper answers - one of those pesky floating voters who actually nearly always determine the outcome of elections. @CPR Dave you pointedly show how far-left parties always kill themselves from within - because the rag-tag collection of various fringe groups always leads to one thing - infighting. We all know it won't end well for the Greens.

I'm not convinced that BoE calculator tackles house prices. I think it's only goods and services - e.g. I think 465k in 1997 would buy you the same amount of bananas as £929k would now. but it can't include house prices. Or bitcoins or shares or other investments.
