£585 ONO

HEIGHT: 75.5cm DEPTH: 43.5cm WIDTH: 86.5cm

Constructed in oak, the cabinet showcases the clean lines and symmetrical styling associated with Art Deco design—an aesthetic known for its streamlined forms. The figured grain of the wood is enhanced by geometric decorative moulded appliques, adding depth and visual interest without detracting from the sleek profile.

The upper drawer opens to reveal a felt lined interior fitted out to house a piece of canteen silver cutlery. To the sides, the console is fitted with practical storage cupboards, offering additional space for linens, serving ware, or associated dining pieces. The presence of a working lock and key adds both security and authenticity. It could be used as a freestanding console or sideboard-style unit, a dressing table, a serving station, drinks cabinet, or decorative storage piece in a 1920's inspired interior.

Condition is good overall, with light, age-related wear consistent with a well-preserved antique. The structure remains solid, with the lock functioning as intended and the interior retaining its original purpose. Surface marks or gentle patina to the wood contribute to the piece’s authenticity and charm.
