The forum is administered by the Administrator who may have to step in every now and then, usually if postings are fraudulent or spam or just out of order and offensive.

- Postings that are totally irrelevant to threads/discussion maybe edited or removed because they spoil the flow of the forum.

- We also reserve the right to edit or delete postings (including signatures) for various reasons, usually the title to make it more relevant.

- Promotional signatures are not allowed.

- Please don't post messages in purely capital letters, especially the subject line, they will be edited.

- The bumping up of messages to the top of the list with "bump" or similar vague messages is not allowed, messages/threads doing this maybe deleted without warning as it's not fair on other users.

Businesses

East Dulwich businesses and services can post a promotional message about themselves once for free on the forum at the Administrator's discretion, continual promotional messages will be deleted without warning. Businesses must state their East Dulwich trading address so we know they are based in East Dulwich, if there is no address the message will be deleted. Continued posting without an address will result in a ban because of the time and annoyance of having to continually delete that businesses message. See here for the simple to follow business rules.

Businesses are welcome to offer genuine advice to users' question and promote themselves in doing so. Successful advertising is available on this site. Abuse of this site for commercial gain is not allowed and frowned upon, action maybe taken against companies who break that rule so don't do it. We reserve the right to ask for proof about recommendations and condemnations, if it cannot be given then we may take the message down. Basically don't lie or be dishonest or take the mickey (at the Administrator's discretion) otherwise your message will be removed and you may be banned from the forum and professionally embarrassed publicly.
