Afternoon tea recommendations?

Planning to take a friend out for a special afternoon tea with bubbly, and hoping for somewhere nice but not too pricey (more like ?25 rather than ?50). Any suggestions?

Hotel at st pancreas station is nice- thameslink from Denmark hill. Not too pricey from recollection unless you take the champagne extra option..........

The mezzanine cafe next to the reading room in the British Museum is lovely.

Hello I have been to a few afternoon teas this year,

are you on Groupon you can get great offers for afternoon teas

at half price with champagne. Palm Court at Park Lane Hotel was the best so far.

Would also recommend that you look on Groupon, living social and Amazon Local as we have been on a few afternoon teas through this. However pls check reviews on tripadvisor first.

I've had a lovely afternoon tea twice at Cannizzaro house on Wimbledon common. Also Beas of Bloomsbury by St. Paul's for a hen night was lovely and great value although of course not as swanky as a posh hotel.

Amazon local and living social have excellent afternoon teas at a good price for 2 people

The Wolseley in Picadilly or the Delaunay in Aldwych are the same group and do good afternoon tea for about ?25

I second The Wolseley especially if you're looking for something traditional. Or something different, the rock n roll themed afternoon tea at the W Hotel on Leicester Square is really good- ?25
