MUDDY BOOTS children's nature group this Friday 14th is all about MUD! Just kidding about the attached picture, but it will be all about mud and soil and if you don't get at least a bit muddy, you wont be doing it right! We will be digging, planting our bulbs for Spring, making mud pies, and painting with mud! We'll warm up with hot chocolate and some singing at Basecamp.

PLEASE NOTE, session time is 10.40-12.10 this Friday only.

Bring wellies, waterproofs that you don't mind getting muddy, including trousers if you have - I'll have a couple of spares.

See you there, if you dare!

If you get a chance, let me know here or on 07919 077198 if you're coming. Holly

Muddy Boots is a children's nature group which runs at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill every Monday and Friday 10-11.30 with a second Friday session at 1.30-3pm. Its very hands-on, friendly, relaxed, completely outdoors and aims to let children learn about nature, get grubby, get lots of fresh air and explore this lovely wild green space at their own pace. Each week we have a nature related activity nature and there's digging, watering, a walk in the woods and listening for wildlife. We end up back at our log circle Basecamp with a story, snack and songs.

Children any age love the peace of the reserve and are very welcome. To engage best with the day's more structured activity, I recommend 14m and over. Its ?6/child and there is a sibling discount. Younger siblings under 14m are very welcome to come along for free.

Meet at the big iron gates of the Reserve on Devonshire Road, opposite Tyson Road. On street parking available.

    • There's been a spate of phone snatching around East Dulwich station and along Lordship Lane. But don't let that put you off the area, these things come and go. I've never had an issue late at night in the areas you talk about and I've been around here for 18yrs (before I moved I had the same concerns as you). Go visit your areas late at night at different times for your own peace of mind (I did)
    • Posted September 20, 202Hello all Hello all Just a quick message to say I've just had a job postponed so I have some time available to do some work for you if you should need a painter around the end of the month. I also do a variety of other jobs too so if anyone needs a handyman, please feel free to get in touch. Happy to do a free quote. Thanks for reading
    • So sorry to hear this. Our bike was stolen from outside Dulwich Library earlier this month. We had a D Lock and they still got through. Probably the same person who’s just cruising up and down the lane. I hope you find it.
    • Hi, I would like to raise some awareness around East Dulwich especially on Lordship lane.  Today my bike electric bike was stolen from in front of my house between the hours of 9:00 and 10:45. If anyone see anything I would be very grateful.  Please do not use a chain lock to lock your bike. Preferably a d-lock. My bike was double locked with two chains and they still manage to take it. Be careful and be aware of Thief.  Here are some pictures of my bike. If you see or hear anything I would really appreciate it.
