Hi - I'm having to rethink our daily routine so baby can nap, so going to attempt lunch out for next few days. Does anyone know where in ED:

- has space in the baby change room for a double buggy (P&T)

- serves toddler lunches (that I can feed my toddler who is allergic to dairy and egg - so jacket potatoes, pasta etc that's made on site for example, ideally not just pizza / fishfingers but accept i may have to put up with that for a bit!)

- ideally is not massively noisy as need baby to sleep and need to attempt toddler quiet time with books straight after lunch

- big enough for P&T at table

Bread of Life would work but I can't really go there every day! Sorry bit of a specific request I know but I'm based in HH rather than ED so haven't been to lots of the cafes on LL etc, but need a walk before lunch to get baby to sleep so ED perfect!

Thanks....

Could try The Florence in HH?

Get their "Mums The Word" discount card (25% off food on weekdays, valid in that chain so include The Bishop, Victoria Inn etc)

They have a kids play area with changing room. Kid friendly during day. Not sure if had kids menu or not (but probably as the others do).

Bit of manoevering to get buggy to the back but we used to do it every week.

If walking to ED the The Bishop has a changing room and highchairs and kids menu (poss squeeze to get buggy in changing room?)

Peckham Rye Park Cafe.

They also have very nice coffee!! Quite a few places around the area are quite nice but seem to use beans that little bit too acidic for a good espresso.

    • There's been a spate of phone snatching around East Dulwich station and along Lordship Lane. But don't let that put you off the area, these things come and go. I've never had an issue late at night in the areas you talk about and I've been around here for 18yrs (before I moved I had the same concerns as you). Go visit your areas late at night at different times for your own peace of mind (I did)
    • Posted September 20, 202Hello all Hello all Just a quick message to say I've just had a job postponed so I have some time available to do some work for you if you should need a painter around the end of the month. I also do a variety of other jobs too so if anyone needs a handyman, please feel free to get in touch. Happy to do a free quote. Thanks for reading
    • So sorry to hear this. Our bike was stolen from outside Dulwich Library earlier this month. We had a D Lock and they still got through. Probably the same person who’s just cruising up and down the lane. I hope you find it.
    • Hi, I would like to raise some awareness around East Dulwich especially on Lordship lane.  Today my bike electric bike was stolen from in front of my house between the hours of 9:00 and 10:45. If anyone see anything I would be very grateful.  Please do not use a chain lock to lock your bike. Preferably a d-lock. My bike was double locked with two chains and they still manage to take it. Be careful and be aware of Thief.  Here are some pictures of my bike. If you see or hear anything I would really appreciate it.
