youngest child always plays with the toys we got his brother and really we've used up our ideas.

its fine obviously as he has lots to play with but id like to have suggestions ready for family who are asking so they can buy something he will like.

so... what are you getting for your 2-3 year old this christmas?

thanks in advance...

our 2.5 year old boy will be getting (from us and various family members) - dressing up, swimming goggles, remote controlled digger, playmobil pirate ship and accessories, jigsaws, a skateboard and helmet (he is desperate for this, but i expect i will live to regret it!) and an electric toothbrush. i think he'll love the playmobile the best as he is always trying to get into his sisters who won't let him, and also cos he's just started making lots of imaginary stories in his head with "his people" (her playmobil when she's at school ;))

for his 2nd birthday, his best presents were definitely a scooter and a ton of duplo

HTH

A subscription to an age appropriate magazine - Storybox in our case. My daughter loves bringing me the mail when it arrives so getting something for her will be a huge treat!

Bing bunny bath toys - lays nice to have new bath hits and he's her favourite CBeebies character.

It's not an object but what about a term of music class?

Just having this exact same conversation with my husband.

We're getting 2.5 year old, second son, superman fancy dress, a Thomas train for their track and some more duplo. He also loves his castle pop up tent so I am sure that the teepee idea will be much loved.

    • You have all the information you need to appeal, I expect you have a receipt for the items and can demonstrate that they were heavy.
    • My partner parked in a loading bay in Orpheus Street SE5 to get some heavy items from Cowling & Wilcox Art Supplies for his business. The whole transaction took less than 5 minutes. He came back, loaded and left - with a fine for parking in a loading bay “without loading within 2 minutes”!!  He made an online appeal but it was turned down- letter attached.   I think the main points he contested are;   You can’t walk to C&W, pick up a box and walk back in 2 minutes, so how can ‘evidence of loading be seen’ in that time? They were not ‘general domestic shopping.’ They were bulky and heavy. The vehicle was moved immediately on returning to it with the goods. So, he met ALL the criteria they have stipulated as reasons for issuing the PCN. If anyone has successfully or unsuccessfully  appealed against a similar loading bay fine do let me know, thanks!
