Hi all

I hope one of you can help me...A flyer cam through my door last week. I think it was from Dominoes and it said something along the lines of 40% off if you spend ?30/?35, can quite remember.

Well in my house, most flyers, estate agents, pizza menus, etc. go straight in the recycling. When I saw this one I thought hang on 40% off Dominoes, I fancy a bit of that and put it on the side (I think). Well, I fancy a pizza for dinner tonight and I can't find the flyer anywhere. I think the wife has thrown it away (this is strongly denied).

Please kind people of Dulwich, if you have that said flyer, tell me what the promo code is. You wouldn't want me to either go hungry, pay full price or heaven forbid cook my own dinner.

Buying a reasonable quality ready to bake margherita base from Sainburies or similar, adding your own toppings (I like chorizo with jalapenos or anchovies with capers), drizzling a little olive oil over it, popping it into the oven for 10 minutes or so, and you have a great pizza for a fraction of the cost even of discounted deliveries, and in your own time and with assured ingredients.

    • Hi Theron. I didn't know about Zip vans but you're the second person today to tell me about them. Really helpful, thank you!

    • Our tenants association are looking for some to take some sort of fitness in our tenants association hall.  The hall can probably hold 40 ish people We would like a class once a week to begin with for the maturer residence 40 plus  We had a Zumba gold before but unfortunately the teacher retired.  The rates for the hall would be very reasonable for a trial period to cut costs for tenants and to see if it suits the teacher too  please get in touch via PM and let’s get moving!!
    • Avoid a private purchase on Autotrader or wherever UNLESS you know the tricks and scams of the used car market and are a competent vehicle scrutiniser. Believe me, the "private" seller market is a jungle for the unwary and inexperienced. There's lots of devious practices for the unaware and uninitiated. Trust me, I've been in the new/used vehicle  market for 30 years. If you really want to buy private, the n tell the seller you will buy it subject to a thorough inspection by an AA or RAC engineer. If they don't agree then walk away, fast.  As for auctions, that's even worse - especially with Copart where you never get to inspect the car "in the flesh". You have to work off their photos and descriptions which are rarely accurate. BCA and Mannheim auctions are the big auction houses and are better . It's  where the used-car trade buy  a lot of their stock. The trade buyers will spot a private buyer a mile off and will bid you up and dump you with an over-priced lemon so that you don't come back. Ex-Motability cars have a history of regular services and are well sought after. Consequently, they command a good price. CarGiant and some other outlets have a good percentage of ex-Mobility stock. Plus they check each car and so you have assurance. PS. I checked your link and could not find any ex-Motability cars there. There's quite a few high performance units such as Porsche Panamera and Jaguar I Pace.
