ed_pete
Probably one for the irrational rage thread but why has "ELO" been rebranded "Jeff Lynne's ELO" ? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/86498-elo/ Share on other sites

DovertheRoad
I don't care what they're called.Or that for years they were uncool (and still are to some). I love ELO. See you at the O2 fellow fans. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/86498-elo/#findComment-937091 Share on other sites
Salsaboy
I think because he's about the only one left. New album is great. Harks back to the old stuff. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/86498-elo/#findComment-937111 Share on other sites
bonniebird
Probably because, when I saw them years back, they had someone else as the lead singer, the name escapes me, but now he's back yay! Jeremy
Yeah, probably to :a) Highlight that JL is actually in it, unlike some other incarnationsb) distinguish it from other "reunion" acts featuring other original members Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/86498-elo/#findComment-937206 Share on other sites

malumbu
Due to branding. I Think there was an ELO two without JL.There were two versions of Boney M, and many other bands have wrangles over the name. They seemed to have put him and Noel Edmonds into a cryogenic chamber as they still look the same as in 1977. Which ironically was the last time either were any good.Time to move on ladies and gentleman M - purchaser of three ELO albums in the 70s. And they were left buried in the 70sCreepy fact - one of the ex minor members died a few years ago when a hay bale came off a trailer and went through his windscreen.
