*NOW SOLD* Retro Cadiz Meakin Coffee set 1960s/70s - ?35

Tea for two is all well and good but coffee for six is more sociable :)

Beautiful coffee set by studio pottery J&C Meakin from the 1960s/70s for sale. The Cadiz design by designer Alan Rodgers features a striking geometric star pattern. The midnight blue and white colour combo is very smart and I can vouch for the set looking good against Hague Blue walls (see pic!).

As well as being functional the Meakin coffee pots are objects of beauty and very collectable. This set would make a great display piece in homes going for a bit of a retro look. However, the Cadiz pattern doesn't scream 60s/70s as much as some other designs so it also sits well in contemporary interiors.

This set has one coffee pot, six cups with saucers, a sugar bowl and a milk jug. The set is good vintage condition. A little of one of the blue stars has worn away on the milk jug but apart from that no chips, crack or grazing is present. I would guess this set was previously used for display rather than used.
